Workshops

Come experience and photograph the spectacular landscape and wildlife of the Nature Conservancy's Zapata Ranch and Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve. This workshop will focus on developing your photographic vision and tools and techniques to make stunning landscape and nature images from capture to the final print output. Some of the potential photographic subjects on the ranch include wildflowers, wonderful ponds and wet-lands, sedge and grass meadows, the sand dunes, and of course the bison herd, all set against the backdrop of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Cost of the workshop includes all instruction,five nights of lodging and all meals provided by the ranch's fabulous chef.
