I am very pleased to announce that I am offering photography instruction and workshops in partnership with the Zapata Ranch in the San Luis Valley of Colorado. I am available for one on one and small group personalized workshops photographing on the ranch tailor made to your needs and interests. I will guide you to the best areas and subjects and provide you with instruction in techniques and ways of developing your eye for making great photographs.
In 2017 from March 5-10 I will be offering a Sandhill Crane photo workshop. Along with local naturalist John Rawinski this photography workshop will document the spring migration of over 30,000 Sandhill Cranes across the ranch and San Luis Valley. In addition to capturing the cranes, we will spend time on the ranch capturing bison, historic ranch structures and the ranching way of life.
In 2017 from October 1-8, I will be offering a Fall Colors and Wildlife group workshop exploring the photographic gems of the ranch and surrouding areas hopefully taking advanatge of spectacular Fall color and the presence of migrating Sandhill Cranes. Along with plenty of field time we will be covering post processing and printing techniques in classroom/lab sessions.
