Workshop will be held at Zapata Ranch August 5-10, 2012
Activities will include plenty of morning and evening shooting time as well as mid-day lab based instruction and work time in post-processing workflow. We will be exploring the fundamentals of what goes into making an excellent nature photograph including the use of light and fine tuning the image composition as well as discussing philosophies to help you develop your own artistic vision. In addition, because I believe the ultimate success in making an excellent nature photograph lies in producing a fine print, I will go through all of the post processing techniques to get the best out your captured image, including digital RAW processing using Adobe Camera Raw and Adobe Light Room; working with Adobe Photoshop, and ultimately producing a color managed digital file for a final print. A workstation with an inkjet printer will be available for making prints. To facilitate maximum interaction and one-on-one instruction, there is a limit of 8 participants.
In addition to lots of photography activities we will be enjoying the wonderful hospitality and facilities of the Zapata Ranch Lodge with meals prepared by their award-winning chef.
Workshop cost of $1,565 includes all instruction, 5 nights of lodging and all meals.
